The Evolution of a Travel Strategist
2000–2018 | Building the Foundation
From Passionate Planner to Precision Travel Architect
Long before Andy Adventures became a business, travel was already a system.
Over the years, Andy designed detailed itineraries for himself, family, and friends. What started as careful planning quickly turned into a method. Routes were optimized. Logistics were simplified. Budgets were structured intentionally.
Between 2012 and 2018, his travel volume increased significantly. He expanded across the United States, explored Europe and the Caribbean, and began refining a repeatable framework for building efficient, high-value trips.
The focus was simple: maximize time, reduce friction, and create experiences that felt effortless once you arrived.
2018–2020 | The Cruise Shift
Discovering the Power of Strategic Cruise Planning
In 2018, Andy took his first cruise in 25 years with Disney Cruise Line. Within months, he sailed his first Transatlantic voyage. That experience changed everything.
Cruising was no longer occasional travel. It became intentional exploration.
He studied ship classes, cabin categories, itinerary structures, and seasonal pricing patterns. He began understanding how small decisions dramatically affect the overall cruise experience.
By 2020, cruise planning had become a core specialty, built on firsthand experience rather than brochures.
The mission became clear: turn extraordinary travel into something structured, repeatable, and intelligently planned.
2021–Present | Global Expansion Mode
Systematic Travel at Scale
Since 2021, Andy averages 150–180 travel days per year, covering 50,000+ miles annually across North America, Europe, and the Caribbean.
This is not random travel. It is calculated exploration.
Each destination adds data. Each sailing sharpens insight. Each itinerary refines the system.
Today, Andy Adventures operates on a clear philosophy:
Thoughtful planning reduces stress.
Experience improves decisions.
Strategy protects your investment.
What began as personal travel discipline evolved into a professional travel advisory practice focused on custom trip planning, cruise planning, and high-value travel design.
What Sets Andy Apart
Andy Adventures was built on real-world travel, not brochure knowledge. Every recommendation is shaped by firsthand experience across Europe, the Caribbean, South America, Asia and the United States.
We are not a high volume booking operation. I provide structured advisory practice centered on strategy, efficiency and long term client relationships.
With over 50 countries personally visited and more than 119 cruise days at sea, every itinerary is guided by practical understanding of how destinations actually work, not how they are marketed.
Clients value clarity, structure and accountability. That is exactly what defines the experience here.

What Clients Say About Working With Andy
We’ve booked cruises before, but this was the first time everything felt intentionally planned. Andy helped us choose the right Royal Caribbean ship, the best cabin location for our kids, and even guided us on shore excursions that matched our family’s pace. The entire process was organized, transparent, and stress-free. We’ll never plan a family cruise without him again.
Planning a multi-country Europe trip felt overwhelming until we worked with Andy. He structured our itinerary so travel days were efficient, hotels were in ideal locations, and every transfer was seamless. His experience as a travel advisor truly showed in the details. We saved time, avoided costly mistakes, and experienced Europe in a way that felt smooth and strategic.
What impressed me most was Andy’s depth of cruise knowledge. He explained the differences between ship classes, cabin categories, and itinerary timing in a way that made the decision easy. From cruise booking to pre- and post-sailing hotel coordination, everything was handled professionally. The trip exceeded expectations, and the value we received was exceptional.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a travel advisor actually do?
A travel advisor provides strategic planning, professional recommendations, and full coordination for your trip. This includes cruise selection, itinerary design, accommodations, flights, land extensions and logistical support. Unlike booking websites, a travel advisor offers guidance based on firsthand experience and industry expertise.
Do your services cost extra?
In most cases, cruise lines and travel suppliers compensate advisors directly, so there is no additional fee for standard cruise bookings. For complex custom itineraries or multi-destination travel, a planning fee may apply depending on scope. All fees are discussed transparently before any work begins.
Why should I use a cruise specialist instead of booking online?
Cruise planning involves more than choosing a ship. Cabin location, sailing dates, itinerary flow, and ship class significantly impact your experience. A cruise specialist helps you avoid costly mistakes, identify the right fit, and maximize overall value. The difference between an average cruise and an exceptional one is often in the details.
Which cruise lines do you specialize in?
Andy Adventures specializes in Royal Caribbean, Disney Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, and select luxury cruise brands. Recommendations are always based on your travel goals, not supplier preference.
Do you only plan cruises?
Cruises are a major focus, but services also include custom European travel, Caribbean itineraries, family vacations, group trips, destination weddings, honeymoons, long-term travel and corporate incentive programs.
How does the planning process work?
The process begins with a consultation to understand your goals, timeline, and budget. From there, a structured plan is developed, followed by booking coordination and pre-departure preparation. Support remains available throughout your journey.
Can you help with flights, hotels, and excursions?
Yes. Cruise bookings can be combined with pre- and post-cruise hotel stays, flights, private transfers, and curated shore excursions to create a seamless travel experience.
What makes Andy Adventures different from large travel agencies?
Andy Adventures operates as a strategic advisory practice rather than a high-volume booking service. Every itinerary is designed personally, based on real-world travel experience across 50+ countries and extensive time at sea. Clients receive clarity, structure and ongoing support from start to finish.
Do you work with families and group travel?
Yes. Multi-generational family cruises, milestone celebrations, group sailings, and coordinated travel experiences are a core area of expertise.
How far in advance should I plan a cruise or custom trip?
For the best cabin selection and pricing, cruises are typically planned 6–12 months in advance. For luxury or high-demand sailings, 12–18 months is recommended. Custom international travel timelines vary depending on destination and season.
